Mr. Christopher Porto is a licensed fire protection and mechanical engineer in multiple states and has over a decade of experience working both within the design and failure analysis industries. His expertise covers a wide range of facilities from aircraft hangars to lithium-ion battery storage facilities and includes design, inspection, commissioning, and failure investigation of various fire protection and mechanical systems. Mr. Porto’s expertise of fire protection systems includes sprinkler systems, fire alarm, commercial kitchen suppression systems, clean agent systems, high/low expansion foam systems, and smoke control systems. In addition, he has performed fire and smoke modeling for application of a performance-based design approach and incident reconstruction. His expertise with mechanical systems includes HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and heavy machinery. He has testified both by deposition and trial.
