Estanislao “Tanny” Acedo is a degreed mechanical engineer in ESi’s Automotive & Marine practice and brings significant expertise in the design, testing, and failure analysis of light and heavy-duty vehicles. He has worked directly with clients and groups to help develop, implement, and manage specific projects in the areas of vehicle testing, product research, and vehicle verification and validation. Mr. Acedo has extensive experience with hands-on testing. Experienced with fuel system components in Diesel and Gasoline engines, as well as alternative fuel systems (LPG, CNG, hybrid, etc.). Mr. Acedo also has significant experience in project management.
His experience spans the full lifecycle of these vehicles, including research and development, diagnostic and performance analysis, risk assessment, and failure analysis. Prior to joining ESi, Mr. Acedo gained a wealth of experience in the automotive consultancy world, having worked with several companies both domestic and overseas. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
