R. Allen Hoffman

Dr. Allen Hoffman is a physician and U.S. Navy veteran with over 22 years of experience working in international occupational environments, including aviation and maritime settings. Dual board-certified in Aerospace and Occupational Medicine, Dr. Hoffman served as Aerospace Medicine Specialist on the U.S. Navy’s Physiological Episodes Action Team, investigating hundreds of man-machine interface issues and evaluating aircrew physical deficits and injuries from both an individual and public health perspective. He also served as the Branch Head for Aerospace Medicine Programs at the U.S. Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, where he authored policies for aircrew vaccinations and return to flight status during the COVID-19 pandemic, briefing the Naval Aviation admiralty to secure authorization to implement.
