As Principal and Vice President at ESi, Tom Bajzek is responsible for leading and executing all aspects of the company's business strategy, driving day-to-day operations and working to ensure operational excellence company-wide. A seasoned veteran in the field, Mr. Bajzek brings proven insight and experience gained from decades of working for multi-national Fortune 500 companies, providing technical expertise across the full lifecycle of a product – from research and design to development and testing, both in the laboratory and in the field. Mr. Bajzek also has 20+ years investigating electrical accidents, fires and explosions.
Industry Expertise
Before joining ESi, Mr. Bajzek worked in a variety of key management and technical roles in the healthcare and defense industries, with a focus on medical product development, analog and digital circuit design, and electromagnetic heating system design. He pairs this industry experience with extensive knowledge of electrical and electronic systems and safety standards to help clients with complex, multidisciplinary failure analysis and reconstruction – often involving industrial and consumer products, medical devices, vehicles, and aircraft.

At heart and in practice, Mr. Bajzek is an electrical engineer, and applies his expertise to helping clients solve their most pressing technical challenges. Well known for his strong client focus and quality work, Mr. Bajzek has conducted hundreds of investigations into incidents involving electronic control systems, electrostatic ignition of flammable vapors, electrical component failures, electric shock, industry specifications and standards, lightning damage, and installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment.

Mr. Bajzek is experienced in a litigation environment and has provided expert testimony in both state and federal courts.
