When the controls and software for a device or system become the focus of an investigation, ESi’s controls and software experts are often asked to analyze the controls and systems involved to determine if any failures or defects led to the incident.
The team consists of Professional Engineers (P.E.) and trained technicians with specific industry experience, as well as M.S. and Ph.D. electrical engineering degrees.
Our controls and software consultants have a broad range of hands-on experience in the design, testing, safety assessment, and failure analysis of controls and software systems, and possess the expertise to analyze how controls and systems interact with electrical systems and with mechanical systems, as needed, to provide a clear picture of the root cause of an incident.
Crane Engineering is now part of ESi -- a significant milestone in our efforts to enhance responsiveness and ensure that we can deploy the right expertise and technologies to fit the scope of a particular project.
ESi is pleased to announce that our Fire, Process and Electrical practice is setting the stage for a new chapter of growth by separating into two distinct practices, Electrical Engineering and Fire & Explosion Investigation.
ESi's expertise spans dozens of industries and specializations organized across several practice groups, each staffed by dozens of in-house experts with the technical knowledge, hands-on expertise, and courtroom experience required to execute projects for and with our clients from start to finish.
