The ESi Architectural Investigation Team is made up of architects, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire and explosion, and materials engineers who have expertise and extensive hands-on experience in every aspect of the building process, from design to construction.
We investigate a variety of structures and products, including residential, commercial, mixed-use, institutional, high-rise, industrial, hospitality, parking facilities, and bridges. Our in-house experts use the latest technologies available to investigate material, design, and construction defects that may be contributing to the damage or failure of a structure.
Using tools like our Faro 3D laser scanner or our drone technology, we are able to non-destructively gather highly accurate data from places that are impossible for humans to reach. The data we gather with tools like these is used to create 2D plans and elevations, 3D models, animations, and other visualizations, all of which aid ESi in providing a complete damage assessment.
