Brittany J. Brown

Ms. Brown is a Senior Consultant at Engineering Systems Inc. (ESi) with over 10 years of experience in fire investigation and inspection, vehicle fires, and determining cause and origin. She specializes in Fire Alarm Systems and fire code. Prior to joining ESi, Ms. Brown served in the Air Force as an Aircraft Mechanic and Transient Alert Technician, eventually getting her B.S. in Aircraft Maintenance and Safety. From there, she began her career in the Fire Investigation field in Clovis, NM as a Fire and Explosion Investigator. She continued to further her career through various Fire Departments, where she served as Captain and Fire Marshal. Additionally, she has experience collecting hazardous materials, examining fire plans, and performs inspection and testing of fire alarm systems. She’s also an active member of the Fire Marshal’s Association of Colorado, the International Code Counsel, and Institute of Fire Engineers.
