Kathleen A. Lavaty, CIH, CSP, MPH

Ms. Kathie Lavaty is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and a Certified Safety Professional with over 30 years’ experience in occupational health and safety consulting and program management. Ms. Lavaty has conducted numerous industrial hygiene, occupational safety and environmental projects, including worker exposure assessments (quantitative and qualitative), indoor air quality, water intrusion/fungal growth and sewage contamination assessments and remediation plans & oversight, community and personal noise exposure evaluations and worker accident investigations.

She has managed occupational safety and health programs for employers in a variety of sectors, including power generation (fossil and nuclear), construction/demolition, environmental remediation, manufacturing, and maritime.  Kathie has developed and audited occupational health and safety managements systems, conducted exposure reconstruction scenarios and provided expert witness support on a variety of industrial hygiene cases.
