Dr. Megen Maginot is a materials science and engineering professional with experience in root cause analysis investigations, failure analysis, integrity management, pressure testing, materials characterization, and laboratory testing. She specializes in a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to failure investigations. She has expertise in the development, evaluation, and implementation of integrity management systems for upstream and midstream oil & gas applications.

Dr. Maginot’s prior experience includes corrosion, integrity and maintenance engineering for ConocoPhillips and BP. For her work in upstream applications, some notable projects include on-site construction engineering support, management of H2S scavenger, flow assurance/paraffin mitigation, and corrosion inhibitor chemistries for an onshore field, root cause analysis investigations associated with release of product at well sites, and water handling.  For her work in midstream applications, some notable projects include design and implementation of facility inspections, running in-line inspection tools (ILI), managing verification digs, and investigation of solids build-up in a products pipeline.
