Dr. Lee is a licensed electrical engineer specializing in power systems and power electronics. He advises on issues surrounding power system failures, electrical incidents and product design and recalls. He has been involved in numerous cases concerning utility outages, electrical ignitions, failures in renewable and battery energy storage systems and industrial and consumer electronics.

He is experienced with investigations involving arc flash, failures in building electrical systems and vehicle systems and has conducted numerous studies on electrical power quality and electromagnetic interference. His experience in electronics encompasses design review, device testing, analysis of circuit board and component failures, failure mode and effects analysis and safety risk assessments.
