Trainor J. Linne

Trainor Linne is a Senior Staff Consultant for Engineering Systems Inc. (ESi) in the Civil, Structural, and Environmental practice group. Mr. Linne has been with ESi for three years, specializing in forensic and investigation-related services. These services include cause and origin, failure analysis, scope of damage, scope of repairs, repair protocols, and building code analysis. His work has included commercial and residential roof damage assessments due to wind, hail, and moisture intrusion, window and door assembly damage assessment, water leakage and building envelope investigations, and structural failure analysis. Mr. Linne is familiar with multiple roofing systems including but not limited to, built-up roof systems, single-ply systems, TPO, SPF, and EPDM systems, clay and concrete tiles, metal roof systems, and asphalt shingles.

Additionally, Mr. Linne holds a bachelor’s degree in Ocean Engineering and has experience with shipboard stability and load management for a variety of vessels, including tankers, livestock carriers, bulk carriers, and container ships. Mr. Linne previously worked with load management software and specialized in ensuring loading computers onboard vessels met IACS UR L requirements
