ESi Acquires Hopkins Forensics Group, LLC

ATLANTA, GA - JUN 12, 2017 - ESi today announces the acquisition of Hopkins Forensics Group, LLC, a transaction which brings critical electrical engineering expertise to ESi’s southeastern operations to meet growing demand in the area and complement our existing mechanical, materials, and civil/structural engineering practices. The transaction significantly strengthens ESi’s local service capabilities, increasing its electrical engineering expertise and providing clients in the area with more convenient access to ESi’s full range of multidisciplinary services.

As part of the acquisition, Perry Hopkins, former Principal of Hopkins Forensics Group, LLC joins ESi’s Atlanta office as a Senior Consultant. Mr. Hopkins brings decades of experience in electrical engineering, including product design and testing, regulatory compliance, failure analysis of electrical products, and reparability assessments. Perry also has specialized expertise evaluating industrial, commercial and consumer electrical equipment and systems that have been damaged by fire, lightning or severe storms.
